I just dug up my timeslips and found that with my mildly to beginner level of heavily modded L27 I ran a 10.092 @ 74 mph in the 1/8. I had a crappy run in the 1/4, feathering the gas pedal (due to a fuel pump overheating and starving the engine) and then letting off totally with 300 feet to go and then hitting the brakes even before the traps and I managed a 16.81 @ 83.xx mph.
My best 60' to date is a 2.325, but that was in a 1/8 run the netted a 10.6xx time.

I can see that short time (60') being pretty accurate.
The 1/8 is extremely quick, being that I am under the impression that your car is fairly stock and also due to the fact that I have never seen a Series II Bonneville run at the strip, but in the few races I have had against them I have always thoroughly whooped them.
For the 1/4 I think that is very good and possible I am assuming with the Series II (I am guessing on a good day I am running a 14.9-15.1).

BTW, are those actual runs or guesstimates?

What mods have you got?
My wifes 2000 SSEi (totally stock) runs 10 flat in the eighth at the local dragstrip.

Boat? You got wheelspin, and that caused the high trap? Huh?

From the responses, I'd say that meter was off. What was it exactly? Brand/model?

Yes, supposedly wheelspin does cause a higher trap, and I have seen it with evidence on timeslips before. The GTP traps at just over 108 mph with a decent 60' (high 1.7, low 1.8), but with a bad 60' (like a high 1.9) I have seen it trap at almost 110 mph (like 109.90). I have heard someone explain why that is before, but it didn't make any sense to me.
