The 00 could have heated seats..and being from MI in the winter you'd really appreciate them. However...they can always be added to the 99.

I like both styles..they are very close...it'* tough to say.

'99, I have a '00 SSEi and a '98 SSE. the '98 is a much better driver in my opinion. much more comfortable of a ride and better seats by far.

99 doesn't have intermediate shaft problems and bad window regulators.

92-99 have more interior and headroom than 2k+. 92-99 are also lighter. I also agree the 92-99 have the better seats.

I agree with the fact that the 00 got the looks, though.

I would love a 99 SSEi as a daily driver type thing, all the ammentites of the newer Bonneville, and like mentioned above, far less problems..same engine and drivetrain too, cant go wrong with that..
After Driving Echo SSEi'* car this summer, and seeing the changes Between 93-96, i decided a 96+ would make a good second car one day.

How is the stiffness between the two as far as body structure? I have heard that the 2000 is much more stiff, but is the 92-99 all that flimsy? My old '91 W-Body feels very loose and everything rattles and thumps.

Also, how does interior build compare? I want no queeks or rattles. my '91 W-car is rattle city!

the handling on my SE felt much tighter to me than than billboosts 97 SSEi(before the endlinks were done).. The steering response is much sharper and more responsive on the 00s.

As far as interior, my 00 has basically no rattles at all, just when the bass hits on the stereo
