Default Got the flowmaster on

Not sure that I'm going to be installing cat. It almost seems like a waste of money after seeing that the old cat looked to be in good condition, and I've been told it makes little to no difference by a handful of people.

Right now, I don't have tips or pipes running out of the muffler because I couldn't find 2.5" piping with a 90* bend ANYWHERE. So it will be going to the shop on Tuesday to have them put on. Right now it REALLY drones around 2 grand I'm being careful not to idle for too long being that the exhaust isn't really exiting the rear of the vehicle. If I idle for more than the length of a red light without windows down, the vehicle gets shut off lol. I think the droning will definitely quiet down after I get it finished, or I will be taking it off before the 500 mile trip to Michigan. It rattles my dash for gods sakes lol.

Here'* a clip from an MP3 Player: http://audio.xanga.com/ghost_wrida/9...361/audio.html

Here'* the video with the digital camera:

Rice Zone usually has some cheap exhaust bends. Did you try some of the Auto Zones around you? Just in case, go to http://maps.google.com, and type in Auto Zone (Zip Code). Then, call all the ones to see if they have exhaust pipe bends. Nice exhaust, though! Please fix it up so that you keep it on.

Yep, checked two autozones, two advanced auto parts, and napa. Auto zones and advance autos carried them, but they were both out of stock. yay.

That is terrible! Who on Earth needs so much piping? Or do they just not have a demand? See if you can buy some piping from an exhaust shop.

My old 93 SSEi with the flowmaster 80 droned REAL bad at 2000 rpm, eventually I just got used to it.
But its certainly nice NOT to have a drone, to just have a nice sounding car.

it sounds AMAZINGLY different No drone inside the car, but it sounds like a small block v8 at idle and rev. A few friends of mine said it was enough to scare them away at a red light lol. $100 plus tax to rig it and have everything welded. Pics/sounds to come.

I LOVE IT.
