Default tires pressure

Hi,

The instructions for my Tahoe' tire pressure posted in the door stated that the pressure is 32 psi and on the tire the required pressure is maximum 35 psi. which one can i follow?

You should follow the sticker on the door post and inflate to 32 psi. As you stated, the pressure on the tire is maximum and should not be exceeded, but that does not mean it is the recommended pressure for your vehicle.

There are forum members who will recommend you should inflate to 34 for better gas mileage, but I would not recommend that in this case. You are supposed to check tire pressures when the tires are cold (not driven). If you inflate to 34 when cold they could easily exceed the tire'* maximum rating of 35 when they warm up.

Inflate to 32 psi.
