Montana Rims
Was curious if tires and rims off a bonne or GP would bolt onto a Montana. I would suspect they would, but - what if the Montana has 215 70R15 and the donor has 220 60R16? Can a dealer tweak the tire size with the scan tool so the speedo is correct? Oh yeah, is there any issues with stud concerns - ie do bigger rims call for longer studs to acomodate the deeper holes?
My daughter needs to trade up from a bonne to a van. How similar are the chassis' between a Montana and Bonneville, Montana has the 3.4, but how about the trans, abs/bearing hubs, brakes, master cylinder etc. I've been a bonneville man for 20 years, so wanting to utilize the spare parts and know-how.
Looking at a used one that'* been sitting quite a while, needs rear tires, but has stock hubcaps - not cool, but the rest is in pretty good shape. If the tire swap will work, I'll be looking for a set of rims and tires.

It seems to me that the Montana/Venture platform shared alot from the H body. I know the bolt pattern is the same and I think the offset is compatible as well. Check TireRack to find out what your specific rolling diameter is for the two tires. They should be close enough to not have to worry about a drastic speedo descrepancy.

Looks like there'* less than 1/2 in difference in diameter, so I think they'll be fine. A 235 60R16 would be within 1/2 in the other way, so it'* as close as it gets. Thanks

I'm running a 235/60 in place of 225/60'* on my Monte and I think it throws the speedo off maybe 2-3 mph. I went with the taller tire to try to pick up a few mpg and soften some of the pot holes up here in the frozen tundra. They failed to do either, but they look nice...
