This was posted at another board I am at. Appears to be a great deal.

Actually, it will, according to the instruction manual, if you get the ALDL CP9127 cable. But I don't know if you get anything more than using the paper clip method.

It will also deliver codes and limited data for '94 and '95 Bonnevilles with the supplied cable. I think I recall though that one of our members tried the CP9145 for a '94 or a '95 and did report getting KR data (but as willwren says, it poops out for OBDII cars. I'll try to find that one report and update this post).

This CP9145 scanner at this price would be a good investment for someone who had a slew of non-SC cars and just wanted to get by with just one low-priced code-reader with limited live data ability.

(edited: ok, here'* roadrunner1'* comments after he bought a CP9145 for his '94sseI:

looks like "Echo ssei" liked it for the live data off his '93'*)

I bought this one from Amazon for about that price a year ago. Excellent product. I use it on all my vehicles with the cable that came with it. It actually provides me with more data on the Bonneville than my other cars. It also provides KR info.

It will not provide KR info for OBD2 vehicles. Only 87-95 OBD1 or OBD1 hybrid 94/95.

For the 87-95 Bonneville crowd, the Actron CP9110 is a far better deal.

Correct. I was referring to the Bonneville. I should have been more clear and thanks for pointing that out.

Right -- and it'* especially great for the '94/'95 Bonnevilles and compatibles. You get the OBDII codes from an OBDI protocol. A ton of data. (hope I'm not geting off-topic too much here . Remember that for the '94/'95 Bonnevilles you will need the "cp9115" Buttermore/slug cable available at cost through the club).
