car has bad fsu , watched this video on youtube about a $40 harness that can be used to fix problem. the outcome was my gauge now reads in reverse someone help.

While I can't see YouTube from here, that'* the Idaho guy named Hans if I'm right. He did a little swapping around of parts and didn't rewire from other posts I've seen from him.

It'* Hans , Holding a long neck Budweiser. In the video he said he didnt need the harness. I wonder if its a matter of you switching up two wires LV.

one of the harnesses was different so i cut that end off and used my old harness , i wonder if the two purple wires are backwards

Will the "fuel sender fix" discussed here (incl. Han'* Utube video) work for my 1999 SE with the same issue. I have the GM part # for the "Harness Kit" as: 15824379 (correct)? I understand that in the '99 I have to drop the tank to access the pump & sender.

This will not work for any Bonne below 2000. Unfortunately 2000 is when they installed the trap door in the trunk. Pre 2000'* need to drop the tank.
