Yes, replace that foot with one of the new "light in the loafers" brand feet. That and the "affected weak left wrist" mod will ensure that your mileage goes up and you will get more dates, too! Maybe not the kind you wanted, but hey...you can't have evreything.

thing is...i actually am pretty light on the pedal most the time...maybe i should take some of the **** outa my trunk...

the car is recently 100% tuned up...it now has new autolite professional wires, TR55 plugs, newer o2 (dont ask), recently flushed cooling system, oil is synthetic due in 50 miles (gettin done tomorrow), tires are all perfectly inflated and only have 16,000 on them...so it must just be the weight of some of the crap in my car and my passengers....hmm..ok...

but i still think an LN3 should get like an AVG of 22 or something....i mean 22 is what it was designed to get...any other ideas for helpin out on the mileage?

Air cleaner? How much junk is in your trunk? Just remember they say in racing every 100 pounds, is a tenth. if you are hauling around 200 pounds worth of junk it WILL affect mileage. i don't know how much but some anyway...

No offense Honey, but you may THINK you're light on the pedal... but in reality are giving passengers whiplash. That and not letting off the gas until the last minute and then hitting the brakes. These cars will coast for ever...my kids never let off soon enough.

It'* true that driving habits are probably the number one factor, after a good tune up, that affects mileage numbers. Having good driving habits doesn't mean that you can't get on it now and then, but they save you gas money and wear and tear on the vehicle.

John, I hope you don't mind but I changed your title to better
understand the topic.

nothing worse than having to guess what a subject means.

And let me clarify about my earlier post... I always thought I was a great driver until I got a Caddy that had the "instant MPG" feature on it. Boy...was I surprised at how much fuel gets sucked up when you take off from a stop. By watching that, I learned to start even easier, coast longer, and began increasing my mileage by 3-4 mpg.
