Dont know why your VIN wouldnt show up. Is the VIN under the hood the same?
Maybe Deathrat can shed some light or lookup your VIN?

Heres what I suggest: Go and buy a Carfax report, it will give you a $5000 guarantee, then you can show them your title and get the cash !!!

The guy i bought the car from had it at his garage for about a year and a half now
i think he got it March 02 from an auto auction..
