Default Found the parts I need!!!

Went to the local yard today to peruse transmissions an all. Found a black 95 se with the 4T60-E. Not sure exactly what it had for a final ratio, so I acquisitioned, aquired, stole, borrowed the RPO sticker from the car. Sped home, pulled up the GM master RPO list and boo ya! It'* a match!!! FW2 was the code I was looking for.

The best part is, most of the engine is gone, the passenger side axle is out already. So, the only thing I need to bring with me is a wrench and a screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers. DONE!

Oh, also swiped the RPO sticker from a 94 Lumina Z34. Thats the one on the back.

Excellent find Mike. Hopefully you won't have too much in the way of problems getting it out of there and back home

The only thing I am swiping is the differential. Not going to waste money yanking another tranny and risk it being busted. Just gonna take the cover and the diff. Be surprised if they charge me for it.

I don't think that they'll be needing it anymore, lol.

Good find! Now go get it before they crush that one! It sounds like it'* almost ready for the crusher.

These are the actual parts I do need. I sent GM a email asking for a description of a particular GM part # kit. This is what I get in return.
They say the kit is items 701-705 in the diagram. They want $141 for those little pieces.

Please don't start another thread for the same topic. You now have three current threads in General Chat for you transmission swap.

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=58837

Furthermore, this technical information should be in the 92-99 forum.
