NEW G6
I went to my Pontiac dealer Friday to get an oil change, and while waiting I seen the new G6. This is the car thats replacing the Grand AM. Nice looking car inside and out. I think has a 3.5 or 3.9 V6 engine rated at 200 hp. I can't wait to see the GT or GXP version. No specs on hp yet, but rumor has it the GXP might be supercharged.

I seen a t.v add the other day about it, Honestly I didn't know they were coming out so soon. GXP wise, I sappose they've scrapped the old GXP Grand Am design from the line up?

It would sure give an NA'd bonnie a run for its money... lol... It would be interesting to see a 3.9 or 3900 V6 for sure.. There was talk of a 3.9 for the G6 rated at 250-260 Hp... So I guess anything goes at this point..

Well an aluminum 3800 would be nice IMO. Series III was too much "tweaking" to make a new generation i believe. There is way too much power being held up for a 3.8L motor.
Problem with a 3800 is that it doesn't share designs or parts with most anything. :?
