Did anybody put one of these in their car?

I've been eying that kit but haven't bought it yet.

No boost gauge option, but I like the red anyway.

I've heard bad things about those, so be warned. Also that particular set will only fit a base SE with minimal options.

Not minimal options... that has the full cluster....

The question that came up here before was that since you apparently are supposed to remove the red backlighting bulbs when installing that thing, how were the gauge needle pointers supposed to light up? They normally illuminate by picking up light from the main backlighting bulbs through clear plastic light runners behind the gauges.
