Hi Peter,
Glad to see it'* coming back together. I took a look under my car just after this happened to you to check it out, and was pleased to see mine was okay. Can you suggest any preventative maintenance we can perform to prevent this from happening? (ie: Keeping it clean, adding spray undercoating once in a while)

Finish cover plating... with a shim to fill in the gap between it and the 1/4" steel

after everything was welded up and grund smooth, I covered it with 3M panelbond, which is great for strength and corrotion reisistance

Wow, that looks fantastic.Wish I had the means to do that to mine as a preventative.

I think you're seeing it strangely. It'* actually that they're welding from beneath the car, and it'* jacked up above everyone.
