Ok..then are you rebuilding it or something? Because if it'* not for access I'm wondering why you would do the extra work. The subframe is plenty of work by itself.

rebuild with a shhift kit.

the guy doing it found a few thing that where minor concerns to him. but overal he was surprised I was rebuilding Guess it was all in my head


still he replaced everything that was even slightly wrong and did the shift kit, so shell be good to go soon

looks good. What would the approximate cost of this be? Also, how much is the tranny rebuild? I may consider having mine done in the near future.

Get some rust converter/POR 15 into that space too to stop it from returning. Also, why not weld a nut to the new holes on the passenger side inorder to hole the bolts. Just incase the sunframe has to come down again.

On the nuts. The originals are in a channel that keep them from spinning, this is to give them a little movement in the case that the subframe is removed and moved a little in any direction for fitment.

It seems that Peter could almost weld those in place and when putting the subframe back in..start with those bolts.

as for cost. 90% if being payed off in favours, so I dont know how much it would acctually cost snyone to be fixed... Id estimate the frame repairs would be $5-800+


the trans is costing me 700 + lost labour time painting the guys quarter panels
