Having driven the Bonne, a SL2 (which I almost bought, had it actually home and everything) then moving on to the Grand Am with a four banger, I would have to say that the auto four bangers have a suprising amount of get up and go for the casual (non technical) driver. Trust me, I have an extreme love of getting on the accelerator and the SL2 was not going to be a disappointment in that category. But then neither has the GA been.

Most cars I drive feel slow to me because I am spoiled with my L67.

However, when I had the Bonnie, I did have an encounter with a V6 Saturn on the freeway (not a race). I don't know what model it was, but it was fairly quick ... definitly faster than the Bonnie on the freeway.
