I want a bonneville to run next to the new GTO, but with the "luxury with attitude" idea at hand.. still be a bonneville at heart.. having the base[er] models, then have the badass ones which have just a huge ls1 or something, and be very similar to the 300C, which has its base models, with a 2.x litre v6 I think.. and then they have the mid range 3.x litre v8, and then there is the big boy 5.7litre hemi, which will conquor [sp?] all. and have something similar for the bonne'*.. like have the base models have the n/a 3800, then the ssei have the */c 3800, and the gxp have a badass 300+ hp engine.. that will just run over everything.. just like chrysler was doing in the beginning of the muscle car era when they had "grandpa'* car" with the hemi, just stomping all, with old people influenced croud.. similar to that of the bonneville, but by no means do just old people own them.. except some of the newer ones . I think the bonneville needs a complete revamp.. being still that it be that amazing machine.. with the luxury it'* known for.

The 300C SRT-8 next year ( ? ) will have a 5.7L bored to a 6.1L, with 425hp stock.

I'm totally with Rogue on this. It seems a "phasing-out" is taking place. :?

if it takes a new name to get some major improvements, then I am all for it. Remember, the Bonneville name has died and came back before.

well if the Bonneville is being "phased out" i'll still have my piece of history....cuz mines not going anywhere!!!

They need to ditch the emissions and computer crap. Drop a new 421 between them fenders and let it play with the back tires. As much as i like being pulled around ..it think a powerful push from the back would be awesome

just my $.02 James
