Default Engine Blew Up!!

OK, not quite literally...
Drving home from work, Tuesday night, late, and my oil pressure just dies. Goes straight down into redline. Pull into nearest gas station, shut it off. Popped hood, checked oil level; good.
Looked under engine; no oil on ground.
Looks like that problem I was having with my oil-pressure is now quite terminal, dammit.
Fortunately, it being around 1 o'clock in the morning, she actually started and ran(pressure read as 15psi at 1800rpm, around 5psi at idle), so I babied her on home.
From 161, down Hamilton, out Broad St. all the way out to Pataskala(about 20 miles all-together), knocking like crazy, but she never gave up! And the next day(Wednesday), she made it all the way back up to Dennis Autopoint, where she is now awaiting confirmation from the warrantee co.(Trunk apparently got things straightened out with them) before Dennis can begin tearing the engine down to point-of-failure. So, hopefully, by sometime next week I'll have a new(re-manufactured) motor in the engine bay(knock wood).
Wish me luck...
She didn't leave me stranded, Gods Bless her! I will never again own a car that doesn't have a 3800 in it. If this had happened in a Toyota, it would have expired instantly. If it happened in a F*rd, it probably would have instantly burst into flames
***ADD*** Waiting for word on tear-down. I really wanna know WTF went wrong with the motor. May see if Scott Cook is willing to take a look at new motor, make sure they didn't stick me with junkyard motor.

you spun a bearing... None the less not good, I would just replace the engine because Im lazy ( actually I am replacing my engine, same problem hehe) But You can get the crank turned and use oversized bearings or just get a crank kit. Hopefully the damage isnt bad enough where you will need new connecting rods.

Good luck man
