Just a cheap-o battery charger from walmart. I have a 6amp, that I paid $30 or something for. I have a dead battery [car no crank], plug that sucker in, give it a minute or two, leave it plugged in, and crank her over. Works just fine. I just try to not have my battery die in the first place.

Reason I was so nuts yesterday was becuase the car had worked not 15 minutes earlier and I had a full load of people wanting rides to the game in 15 minutes. Just a little stressful. *sips coffee* But the battery tender gave me the green light this morning, the battery gave me a green light, car still won't do anything. I'm gonna run over to get a new battery I guess. First though, anyone have any preffered brands/battery types and is it okay to get a higher voltage than my stock battery? My blinkers were running extremely slow since I put on the new drive lights but it seemed to be no problem until now. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: Scratch that, as I was leaving to get a new battery I thought I might as well take a look at the battery terminals. I took off the neg, cleaned it up, stuck it back on and immediately I heard bing bing bing bing so I grabbed the pos terminal and cleaned that one up, got the battery tender back on it and it gave me the green light. I got in the Bon and she started hard, but she started. Apparently it was due to a dead battery and corroded terminals.

Now here is why I'm a dumbass: I don't know **** about this car, this is why I turn to Bonnevilleclub.com and it'* members. I'm learning new things everyday here and today'* lesson: Why you disconnect the neg terminal before doing electrical work, you may short out your battery. Yeah, its my fault the battery died, I shorted it out while trying to fix the reading lamp on the passenger side. I'll take more care in the future but I just want to say once again, thank you for helping me out and giving advice, I really appreicate it.

Dont get a higher voltage battery, it can cause damage to your cars electrical system. Since this is MN find something with a high Cold Cranking Amps. You can try a Optima, they have something like 900 CCA, but are a little more expensive than others.
By the way, did the Scarlets win Homecoming?

We knew we would lose before the game even started. The end score with 2 minutes on the clock was 7 to 46. There were a couple good plays by the Scarlets though so the game was by no means a waste. So far we have won only 1 game out of the season and that was against Winona, so can you really call that a win? Either way win or lose I go to see the game and support my team and thats all that matters to me. I wouldn't mind if we won once in a while though.
