Found it!!! Yeah, it comes in through the firewall like you said Dan. Then it runs along the right side of the engine bay, under the fuse/relay box, then it'* SUPPOSED to do a 180 and run back along the top right side of the engine to the alternator. My bright idea was to tuck it into the left electric fan housing to keep it out of the way! (So it simply ran along the fans and looked like it plugged into the left one.) I even wrote "ALT" on the ring so I wouldn't forget where it goes! I guess that only helps if you can find it in the first place!

Thanks for all your help gentlemen. As always, you guys are the best!

Thankfully where it was there was nothing to short out against (the fans/housings being plastic)! I think I'm more lucky I didn't run it long enough for the fans to come on!

Oh, and it was YOUR write-up I used to do the UIM/LIM gasket swap Dan! Seriously, I printed it out. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but I have never been that far into an engine before. Your write-up made it very straight forward and fairly easy! Thank you so much for that!

You two (Dan and Bill) have been SUCH a help since I first got my Bonny a little over a year ago. I know it'* been a little while since I joined, but she was nothing to look at when I first got her and she was in pretty rough shape. I plan on taking some photos soon and doing a formal introduction.

Also, I just changed the oil and it was straight up CHOCOLATE MILK. It was never like that before. Is that normal after swapping out the UIM and LIM gaskets? Granted, I did not drain the coolant before starting the swap, so I'm hoping it simply mixed with the oil while everything was apart. I'm hoping I didn't screw something up!

I ran the engine up to temp (after changing the oil) and it settled nicely around 190 and I see no leaks. I torqued everything to spec during reassembly (actually had to go buy a smaller torque wrench since the one I had would not go low enough to do the LIM and UIM bolts).

I guess I'm just looking for a reassuring "yeah, that'* normal right after that kind of a swap"!

I'm glad we were able to help.

When pulling the LIM it'* next to impossible to not get coolant in the oil. So a change of oil is recommended. Just keep a eye on it.
