Dress up the DASH
Been thinking about painting my dash lately and some interior pieces.
The same guy who had the "thick mesh grill" write up I found also has/had a nice looking dash. Silver car and matching silver dash.
Looks nice without overdoing it. Still looks classy, could look real nice on my ssei.
Picture it now
I also want to see the interior of the GXP and want the vent pieces, might just paint'em if I can figure out how to get them out.
Well that GP guy wasn't happy with the silver for very long untill he went to this color shifting paint.
I like it, don't know if it'* right for me but I like it. Idealy I was thinking silver for me. Need to dress up the dash soon.

I realized that I didn't have a pic of my whole dash anywhere, so I just went out side and took a couple of pics. It'* so nice finally having a digital camera.
Ya, I know my car is FILTHY right now, don't even want to show you the outside.
Like my winter floor mats?
Back on topic, thinking silver might look sharp, I'll do as many pieces as I can get out.

About the dash, if you did decide to do it you might want to try the different paints on the back side of the dash to see how they show and react to that type of plastic. Also, to prevent any of it from rubbing off and to give it a glossy look you could try a clearcoat on top of the paint... just throwing out some ideas.

Those checkerboard gauges gave me an epileptic seizure. I'm ok now, took me a while to recover though
Anyway, I'd definitely go with the silver dash trim! Can't wait till you get it done. I would have done mine gold a while ago but I'm afriad of breaking it. And if I can't get all the pieces out I won't even start it.
