I didn't have the flex and I made it work for the tails. Would have come in handy though.

i havent really looked at the corners of the Intrigue to see if they can be cleared or not, i might have to go check that out in a sec or two.
But my advice would be to stay away from the cordless Dremels if you plan on doing anything heavy with them.
The battery on mine was great for a while, but i had to stop and recharge the thing just while gutting the airbox on my Bonneville, it seems like anything strenuous on it, makes it die quicj, fast, and in a hurry. But its also handy because im not always near an outlet....so get both!
