Default GXP tail light part# confirmation

Can anyone confirm the part number for the GXP tail lights and center section? I accidentally broke the one good tail light on my '01 SE, so I figured I might as well replace the other cracked one and center appliqué while I was at it. I've had conflicting stories from each dealer I call as to what part # is correct (I don't have a GXP VIN to confirm it with), or if they will even fit on an '01, so if someone can tell me for certain whether these are the correct #'* before I order them, I'd really appreciate it.

RH - # 25762534
LH - # 15228567 (supposedly superseded # 25762533)
Center - # 25762532

I just checked one last time with the dealer and gave him a VIN I pulled off of eBay for an '04 GXP, and he did confirm that the part numbers I have are good.

So it looks like GMPartsDirect will be getting my business soon, I just hope they don't do like they have in the past and mess everything up .

Yeah, GMPartsDirect is pretty bad about that. After my last experience with them I swore I'd just pay the extra at the dealer and have an actual person to yell at if it'* the wrong part. But the price difference between the dealer and GMPartsDirect is just too much.

And yeah, I figured I'd be the one to take the risk on this one. Either way my old lights are toast, so if they send me ones that fit I'll be somewhat happy (though I'll still be mad if they aren't the GXP ones).

I like the GXP tails. I'm going to clear the amber out of mine and if I later decide I want the tails let me know how much this runs you.

Edit: Moved to General since it'* not a mechanical issue.

Thanks, they don't show any in their inventory, plus I already ordered them from GMPartsDirect. My center section is also half delaminated, so I figured I'd replace that while I'm at it. It'* not cheap, but I'm hoping it will look pretty good .

Well, I finally got the parts in yesterday (while I was in California of course), but since I got home late last night, I busted them open and put them on today. So here'* the run down:

The part numbers above are correct, and thanks to GMPartsdirect outrageous shipping and handling charges, just over $500 to my door. So here are the pictures (my camera sucks pretty bad, sorry it'* all I had besides my phone).

Here they are just out of the boxes. They came with new wiring harnesses and bulbs, so that was nice.

Here is the old center and the new one, just so you can see that the reds are pretty much the same, just it looks quite a bit different without the grids.

Here they are on the car (sorry about the flash, but it lets you see the reflectors are only along the bottom of the light instead of the entire light).

Here they are again on the car (with the lights on).

Here'* some pictures of the car de-chromed with body damage on the front from a hit and run (hood, bumper cover and supports, headlights, plus it'* extremely dirty from sitting for a few weeks).

Another side shot without chrome trim.

And another.

Ouch...$500 eh? Makes me want to forget about getting GXP tails. How much was shipping alone?

They look nice, and I'm glad the part numbers were correct.

$500 is cheap compared to 92-95 Ei tails. those are $700+ if you can even find them
