My 96 grand marquis didn't have an antenna that stuck out of the vehicle, but it got really good reception. I don't know if it was a powered internal antenna or what, but I liked it B-)

SOME SE'* could if they got the RPO code for some oddball options group or other. jr's3800 knows that code.
My 95 SE (SLE-supercharged) also has a power antenna, and every other option common to the SSEi other than the HUD.

I dont even know how my power antenna came off but it first was bent...then the little cord that looks like wee-wacker cord broke. I would like to replace it with a short rubber one kinda like they have for XM or other satellite radios since they look kinda cool and wont break off!

You'll get crappy reception from those.
Power antennas from the wrecker are inexpensive and take less than 5 minutes to swap out. That includes removal from the donor car and installing in yours. Two 10mm bolts inside the trunk, a drain tube, and an electrical connector, and it pulls out of the rubber fender trim seal into the trunk.
Pop the other one up in there from the trunk, and reattach. All you need is a 10mm wrench or ratchet/socket when you go to the wrecker.
