I know you said SSEi, but I just have to throw in my $.02. This car is the best car I have ever ridden in. It is big (I love big cars, I'm closterphobic), it is beautiful, you can get them with options out the @$$ (even though mine doesn't have much), for a sedan, she gets up and hauls, I tell ya what, I've hung in with the best of em for a while before. I can just about guaruntee you, my next car will be a Bonneville, or at least another 3800 Poncho.

I love my 1993 SSEi, i had one previous to it as well.
For the price its all the car i want and love on a day to day basis, and it looks really good to.
Kinda tricky to mod to perfection as far as performance goes, once you get over a few humps your laughin. Something about that makes my day.

The only bad part about these cars is the inner struggle they provide in you. Where part of you wants to stab the gas pedal and blow away every rice kid in town, while the other part of you wants to drive it as easy as possible for the fear of losing an extra day in the life of your beloved car, due to wear and tear. My only real complaint though is the brakes that fade and just don't stop well enough for me, but you have to take into cosideration the force it takes to stop a 3400lb car from 100mph. I was kinda spoiled in handling/braking by a previous 95 Talon TSi AWD 1in drop 17" fusion tires that I owned, though. My advice...just drive one, you shouldn't be dissapointed.

While it'd probably be fun to have a whiner under the hood, the SE ain't nothin' to sneeze at. Got enough power to have fun with. Uses cheap gas. While it might be missing a few of the gizmos in the dash (I miss the ECC from my LeSabre), it'* still plenty comfy.
