Default motor mount question

I am placing a 3.8 liter 96 midships and i don't know how to use the stock motor mounts( they are way out of line to my chassis- ) any ideas?
after market stuff?


any Macgyvers out there?

My best advice is to modify your chassis to use the stock mounts.

Other than that, we're not going to be much help to you.

Hasn't anyone ever done what i am doing- or am I the only wierd one?
are there moutor mount kits that guys use when they put 3.8 liter engines in street rods?

If it'* a common application yes, but I haven't heard of anyone using a 3800 for a street rod. :?

are you running the motor front/rear, or sideways?

if you are running it transverse talk to the fiero guys, there are vendors who make kits to mount it up to the fiero'* cradle. they make work for you with limited modification.

Default mid engine

it sits in my car like it did in the bonneville only 5 foot farther back. There is no cradle, I am putting it into a tube frame. The original motor mounts are curved and don't line up.
