Default O2 sensor and the plug wire

95 Bonni SE L36

I just put in a new AC Delco O2 sensor and there just doesn't seem to be any way to keep the wire harness more than 3/4" away from the spark plug wire.

When I did the plug wires a few months ago I ended up using zip ties on that one plug wire to keep it away from the O2 sensor wire harness. I thought I could re-route the new one but the harness is just too short. I did try to form the harness wire away. 3/4" is the best it will stay untouched.

Web sites I've read say keep it a couple inches away.....yeah right!

Is everybodys L36 this way?

I have the same exact problem. I used a zip tie to keep it away and it is about one or two inches away.

Default

the length of wires etc is prohibitive. I find that most have the wire coming down in the last holder and looping around the outside of the O2.

3/4" is about the best you can do.
