Default Dean Tires ?

Anyone ever hear of or run Dean tires?

I went tire browsing for the Bonne today and were recommended their Equus LSi tire as well as a few other choices.

Another that I'm looking at isthe General Altimax HP.

Also recommended were but not sure why since they are not H rated (spec for an i)
Kumho KR21'*
Yoko Avid TRZ

Still more shopping to do before I settle on one,

I had Dean Equus LSis on my '94 SSEi. They were pretty nice tires, nice tread. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. I'm not too picky when it comes to tires, I buy what I can afford.

I've got a spare set of Bonnie rims with Dean tires on them (burnout tires now.) They used to be on my best friend'* SE and they were just plain scary in the rain, Personally I think they suck.
