someone please tell me what the difference is in these 2 motors because the specs are the same.

The specs are actually a little different. Not sure if you are talking the NA or SC version.

S2 SC motor differs from the S3 in terms of the S3 having stronger piston rods, a more efficient supercharger and potentially larger valves.

i know the sc s3 has 20 more hp than the s2 so i figured there was some difference there but with the na engine they make the same hp and tq

I haven't gotten into that one as much. Might have stronger rods, the upper intake is metal instead of plastic. Otherwise, I really haven't done much research on them.
