Default Comments on Pontiac Vibe?

My wife is looking at Pontiac Vibes, 2 wheel drive with auto.
I know that they are basicly a Toyota Matrix but has any one on here owned or drove one and what are the pro'* and con'* of this car.
Thanks.

I know a few people that have them. Not a bad car, lots of room, drives OK.

Was given a Pontiac Vibe as a rent a car in Virginia in 2009. Never knew anything about a Vibe, not a single thing. My first impression.... wow, USA is finally making a small car that can compete with the Japanese. Ran lke a clock, handled smooth, everything was great. Only issue I found was it had a bit of a blind spot.

Later I discovered that the Vibe was built in California in a Toyota plant, plant may have been in partnership with GM. I definitely would give the Vibe a thumbs up.

My wife owns one and loves the lil car.
Runs great never had any problems and very easy to maintain oh and they have a built in power inverter in the dash.
One of my complaints is that it needs more room we go camping a lot and i have two kids and with all our stuff the back area fills up quick but the luggage rack works well with those car toppers.
