I would never, ever heat or cut springs, no matter how desperately I wanted the car lowered. It affects the car'* ability to ride properly and handle, it compromises its safety in harsh conditions, and its irreversible unless you buy a new set of springs, which aren't cheap.

nothin is irreversible lol
they arent THAT expenesive, they are like 200 bucks a pair online

...only to realize a few months later that what you did wasn't a very good idea to begin with, have to spend money on new ELC rod(*?), plus another $90 on another alignment to get it back to stock ride height?
