Default 03 Grand Am SC/T

today my buddy took out his moms SC/T grand am (silver with the hood scoops) ..supposively RAM AIR...but i don't think it'* actually functional at this point due to the hood scoops not having real mesh. Regaurdless, we paced eachother on the highway and i was behind him and as soon as the coast was clear... i came out to the left and passed him at about 108 mph while he was still goin like maybe 95 and i just toook offfffff!!!!! ..and coasted back down to normal speeds , another kill in the book. ..haven't lost yet

The hood scoops are non-functional. I've spent a little time under the hood at one of our Pontiac dealers, and the 'ram-air' comes from the gap beneath the closed hood and the Grille (driver'* side). It'* really only effective at 50+mph, but is supposedly good for 5-10 hp I think?

Probably not too effective with a paper AC Delco filter, though.

I second that. I do , however, adore the vipers and some of the beefed up stealths.
