hi all, since im new im not sure where to put this post but if anyone courld correct me that would be greatly appreciated. my problem is that my back seats leak very bad. its not a problem when it only rains for 10 hours or so but last weekend when it rained for 30 straight hours it leaked alot. there was seriously no joke a lake in the back two wells, im lucky that i didnt get to all the elctrical motors for the driver and passenger seat because it deff would of shorted them out. also my trunk leakes, just not as bad but i would deff like to get that fixed. what my question is, is does anyone know where to get new water seals and who can install them and for how much for each, the water seals, and the installation cost. i want to replace all ther seals in the car, can anyone help bc im incredibly lost. thanks in advance

my car is the delux model or how ever you say it, its has all the options that were offered.

There are drain tubes in each of the 4 corners of the sunroof that tend to come undone, or get plugged up. Raise and/or tilt the sunroof into various positions so you can see where each of the 4 drain holes are (1 in each corner). Now pour some water into each drain hole (one at a time) and observe where the water comes out on to the road (or driveway). When you pour it into the rear drain holes, it should come out just ahead of the rear tire on the same side you poured it in. When you pour it into the front drain holes, it should come out just behind the front tire on the side you poured it in. If you pour it in, and you don't see it coming out, we found your leak.

Try that, let us know what you find, and we will tell you what to do next.

i completly forgot to tell you that i used to have a draining problem from the moon roof, the roof of the car would get soaked but i had someone blow out those spots and now it doesnt leak from there anymore but the back doors still leak. the reason why i think it is the water seals is because the i can see where its coming in bc there is a clear river flowing from the bottom of the door. does that information help at all?
And im going to give your advice a shot and ill get back to you on the results, thank you very much for the help, ive had to buy a shop vac and store it in the trunk bc my car leaks so bad that that is the only way i can keep from growing mold or having the floor rust out from underneath me

Once you check the sunroof, check the weather stripping around the door openings for any obvious damage or signs the stripping has pulled away from where it should be. If you don't see anything obviously wrong, in all likelihood its a problem with the watershield inside the door panel. If you remove the door trim panel you will see a translucent piece of plastic sheeting attached to the sheet metal. It is attached with a black sticky substance called butyl. If the butyl has dried, and/or the plastic piece has pulled away from the sheet metal, that is the source of your leak.

To inspect and/or repair this you need to remove the door trim panel.

By the way, the most common cause for sunroof drain tubes coming disconnected is from blowing them out with compressed air when they get blocked up. Just like someone did to your car. I will be interested to see what the test results are with pouring water in the drain holes.
