Why we build these cars...to drive
You know I was driving home last night and rolled the windows down and cranked up the cd, I must say I remember why we build theses cars all the work and time,. The stereo sounded freaking great, the car drove great, the tone of the exhaust. I took a longer country drive home instead of short route and just enjoyed the drive, first one in a longtime, so try the long drive sometime..Mike

I tell you, I love the quality of the sound systems these days. I remember my first couple cars from the 80'* that had crappy stereos. My '96 Cutlass I just sold, and the Bonneville both have great sound.

I LOVE the sound system in my 03 compared to the 94 stock. I even upgraded the speakers to Eclipse in the 94, but since they aren't placed in the ideal spot in those years, it doesn't sound nearly as good. Many other things like ride quality and comfort with no squeaks and rattles make me happy too.

I try to turn up the stereo in my wifes car (02 Stratus) and it sounds tinny and quiet. There is too much road noise...
I am pleased with the stock stereo system in the Bonneville

I was actually VERY impressed with the sound system in my 04 Sebring. Bass was VERY ample, and the treble screamed. For 4 speakers I was shocked. Maybe they made it better in the newer years.

If your Sebrings had good systems, either they got better in later years or Sebring just used a better system than 300M. 300Ms system sucks, my AC Delco speakers in the Bonneville sound better than the Infinity speakers in the 300M. I love to crank my music up and just cruise. Relieves a lot of stress, need that alot here lately. lol

I didnt hear you..... What did you say.....
IMO the Monsoon system is trash So I upgraded..
I was told the other day as I had a friend following me that my car Has the sweetest sounding exhaust almost Camaro SS.. Then merging on to the Highway I made a fool out of a mustang driver the smile on his face was worth it as he waved when I let him pass.

I love the 8 speaker Infinity system in the GC, love that amp tucked under the seat and the 10 disc CD changer. First Vehicle I've had that had either, now I never want to be without.

In the early 90'* models i preferred the non-bose units such as the 7band ETR with "premium" speakers over the bose models, especially after years of use.
Also easier for upgrades and such. But I'm leaving my 10 speaker 6 disc in dash alone for now, i don't wanna mess up the looks of my dash.. I might add my diamond audio 12" off the rear speakers though at some point..
