Unfortunately, I can't give a serious answer. I've never been behind there to see how it'* set up. I've thought about it, though. I'm a certified screen printer, and have always thought about setting up a table and doing a custom dash and such. But the money and/or motivation are never there.

I dont know what the ***** look like on the bonnevilles, but i had a sunflower gt that had rubber covering the hvac *****, i peeled it off and it was all clear plastic, got some clear red paint from a hobbie shop and sprayed the inside, it looked awesome at night, kinda like big leds

If you have the 3 **** system, you cant pull the "covering" off of the *****. The whole **** is one molded peice. The grey is rubber molded to a white frame that cant really be pulled off i cont beleive. You would hit white eventually, but it would be REALLY disfigured if it even still worked at all. To get the **** off (for whatever reason) you just PULL straight out, hard. I had an original one break so i couldntset it on anything but defrost. And make sure you put the metal sleeve back on if it came off durring dissassembly. Its imprtant.

P.*. No the ***** dont light up, and it would be difficult (not impossible) to make them light
