Joshker...thats a beauty of a 'vette you have there. Good luck with the sale of the Bonneville, only wish you had joined us here before you planned on parting with it. Hope it treated you well.

Wargamer,

If you don't mind,

1G2HX5210S4210857

I suspect it has been involved in an accident--I can see some repair evidence.

Thanks

Thanks for the compliments. Actually I prurchased the car as a repo and went throghth the whole thing. I've actually grown quite atached as it is such a great car, I have a hard time believing this car has even 100K let alone 215. I'd like to keep it but as I sit here laid off I have nothing better to do than do what I enjoy doing and that is working on cars. I was actually very surprised to find a welth of info here, including the mysterious 640 DTC I was getting, I replaced the Boost bypass solenoid and all is well, and I can only thank those on this forum. Unfortunately I havent figured out the dash lighting yet (i have none) but It looks as if the dimmer switch is the going to have to be the culprit. Look forward to pictures coming in a few days.

Joshker, did you have to replace/rebuild your SC? For that many miles, I am impressed. As you can see, I have one of these rare cars as well. What color is yours?

Actually it must have been replaced as well because it doesnt leak, and it is silent. I did change out that stinky fluid but it looked rather clean. The car is in the for sale section, check out the pictures @
