When you live out in the boondocks a shot up car in your front yard kinda reads....Stay the Ef Out! Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again!

You should see the Speed limit sign 50 feet before my turn off. Deer crossing signs? Unrecognizable, diamond shaped metal swiss cheese. Funny that for the third consecutive time this past November there was again no nominee for Town Constable. Guess it'* another 2 years of calling the State Police 30 miles away when some inbred shoots his brother over a Buck toothed crosseyed filly.

Yes, unfortunately not enough parents educate their kids anymore on the proper use of firearms, and since the subject is pretty much taboo in schools nowadays, waaayyy too many people own guns without ever having had proper training, or even basic lessons in safety. Seeing shot up cars and road signs really chaps my hide to no end as it is a black eye for the millions of responsible gun owners. Anyone caught doing crap like that should get the book thrown at them. Common sense is rapidly becoming an endangered species. It'* too bad that the subject is so taboo in so many places just because of a lack of information or understanding of the matter.
Sorry, just realized that a thread hijack was in progress, back to your regularly scheduled overpriced bonneville thread.
I might bid it up to 10 bucks (if they will deliver it), then I'm out. It would be fun to have a car again just to thrash. I bought a 1977 Buick LeSabre years ago for $99 from a guy who needed beer money for the weekend. Between my brother, my cousin, and I, we had 99 bucks in our pockets, and he took our offer. Signed over the title and we drove it home. It was in prestine shape, orange with white leather interior, needed rear shocks, though. Drove it to and from work for over a year, then gave it to my cousin who raced it at the local dirt track.
