Default Quick 1997 Pontiac Service Manual Question

Hello. I own a 1997 SSEI and I wanted to know if I need Volume 2 of 2 or just Volume 1. I see that the manuals cover 3 makes and I don't want to buy both manuals if I don't need to.
Thank you for any info you can provide.

Jim

Yes, you will want both books.

As I remember book 1 is mechanical and engine controls and book 2 is all the electrical. They nerely noted the vehicle differenes of the three models in each section instead of putting them into different books.

I've done the LIM gaskets and the A/C thingy under dash. Now I need to fix the traction control, elec. level control, and the elec. suspension control. I've read many may posts on the subjects on this fine forum. I need a manual to help with trouble shooting. I really need to donate to this forum, it'* been a money saver for sure. I think I'll donate now and remove some guilt. [Went to donate and it'* auto-renewal, any alernatives??]

Best regards Bill and thanks for your many posts that have helped all us DIY'ers.

Jim
