Yea, an easy bolt on bracket system for a 2nd supercharger on the 3800'*. It would have to be mounted on the front(radiator side of the engine). ICM would have to move, but I think it can be done. I'll get a hold of Rich and have him bring is M90 over for a mock up/photo shoot.

If your willing, I can be the Guinea pig for beta testing

Thanks for replying! Sorry about your business having that slight issue, but it'* very cool that you've pulled through and are moving on.

Having two blowers is one of the better setups you can go with aside from going turbocharged. You can have two different pulley sizes and just go nuts with the setup. The easiest setup, with a RWD 3800 that'* either supercharged or could be, is to use the room on the sides of the engine instead of mounting over the radiator. Some guy a while back took two M90s and made them power his Thunderbird.

The Series III 3800 also uses the M90, but the Gen V instead of the Gen III. There were two other M90 superchargers before the Series II 3800 came out and started using those instead of M62s, so the third generation was the first used on our V-sixes. We never got the M112, which is a much bigger and much different supercharger found on Ford V8s and some other cars. An M112 would be really, really awesome to use. I wouldn't have the room for it, but one can dream.

I still have somewhere an adapter that lets a Series 2 3800 throttle body fit onto a Series 3 3800 intake manifold or supercharger. That one could be used or another one remade so that the Gen V M90 could be used with one of these adapters to power a 3800 with no other changes. You wouldn't even have to tune for it except that tuning would really help add timing as the Gen V'* greater efficiency allows for it.

Overall, good job! I'm glad to know more of these adapter will be available soon.

FWIW the Gen V M90 has a larger opening than the Gen 3 M90. here is a Gen V gasket on top of a Gen 3 gasket on top of a Gen 3 IC core. You will note the location of the Gen V opening is moved about 3/4" further forward.

If anything, it'* gonna be a real TIGHT squeeze getting this thing mounted in a B-ville engine bay....

Unless I cut a hole on top of my existing supercharger and mount the other one on top of it...

If I had an aluminum welder, yea I might be able to do something. But, if I make a hole in the top of the existing supercharger, is that going to effect the performance of it??
