Default Might be getting the car of my dreams. But worried Sick!

Ill go into more detail latter on but here is the jist of it. MG92Bonnie and I just put around $2000 in parts into my 1992 Bonneville SE but its rusted pretty bad and its irreversible. I had the car sold for around $3000 but had to back out of the deal because i posted it for sale on a whim and didnt think about how my girlfriend would get back and forth to work and so on.
Well... as u all know i am a bonneville FREAK.. im on my 3rd bonneville now and far from done. Anyhow.. I found my exact dream car for sale very close to me.
1999 Bonneville SSEi, lightly modded, every option, my favorite color, ect, ect. for a little over $3000 but a younger kid owned it and not sure how he treated it. Ive talked alot to the kids father about the car and how badly i want it. But im broke.. Dont have time to sell my car and buy this one because itll be bought by someone else by then.
SO.. I am selling my car to my sister for $2500 and borrowing the rest (if all works as i hope and have planned)
But my car i have now 1992 SE is completely reliable, has pretty low miles(137,000) and has so many new parts. The SSEi i want has 167,000..

SHOULD I DO IT? This is my only opportunity i feel. I have been told the SSEi runs very strong, and as i mentioned its the exact year, color, options, ect ive always wanted.

You know I was in the exact same spot few months back, I found a black sts-v with black and red interior fully loaded with every option, something I really wanted for a very long *** time
Then my brother talked me out of it, he said my car still got warranty on it, I already spend few bucks on it here and there, I know its very clean and reliable and my insurance on it isn't so bad (since I'm 21 only). He convinced me to keep this one for now.
Since the other one is sc, and driven by a younger dude, I would think twice about it.. Specially since its modded, you have a good car to take you back and forth, I'd stick to what I got

I'm with Sam on this one..

Reliability is worth more. Wait until you have the bank built up and keep what you have and trust

I know you don't want to hear this, but I'd say keep what you have. One... reliability, of course, you don't know how it'* been treated, and how it runs. Two... insurance will probably go up, now, I don't know your situation, but I think insurance will definatly go up. Three... gas, I don't know if a Series I N/A is any more/less fuel efficient than a Series II */C, but I do know that you will have to pay for premium, now again, I don't know your situation, just stating the facts. Then again, it all depends on how bad you want it. This car could turn out to be one of the best purchases you've ever made, maybe not. I just want to know, what does your gut feeling say? That'* usually the best way to go.

So you want a newer car with higher milage? Okay. If you have expressed how badly you want this car, the sellers will tell you what you want to hear so they can sell it. I would stick with the SE, you'll find an SSEi in time for the right price with the mileage and reliability you want
