97 Window is only about $250. Although most 2000+ owners are probably carrying full coverage.

7 quotes received today, cheapest was $425, most expensive was a bit over $700.

Those are the "'l'll bring cash" price..

I'm guessing any windshield is fine, but wondering if certain are better than others since at the bare minimum $425 is a lot for a windshield.

PPG is good from what I hear. That'* all I've ever got when I had anything replaced. I never requested for it, it'* what they seem to use around here in NVA.

For my 95 there was. They ask me if it had HUD when I was getting quotes over the phone. After they installed it it had a sticker on it that said it was for the HUD. I think the sticker is still on it today

I'm not sure sorry. It doesn't look any different than any other windshield to me.

HUD windshields contain a "wedge" design..there is a center layer that gets thicker the farther you go down.

That center layer allows it to produce a "clear" image..nomrally you get the double image on a NON-HUD windshield.
