Bonny SE VS. WRX!!!
It'* not a kill but it was fun. Well this guy in the WRX crusies a lot in town, well while I was leaving town I came up behind him and there was a car infront of him doing 60 so I'm riding his bumper and when he had a chance to pass we both floored it, but he wasn't really leaving me in the dust, so we both keep it floored going past 100mph and he'* slowly starting to pull away now, and my car hits the goverend which was like 108-110mph and that'* when he really started to pull away. Dangit I wish my car was faster to show up that WRX. You should see the big o wing on the back and the big o fart can. It sounded sick. I know I say I don't race into triple digits but I wasn't gona let him think my Bonny ain't got balls, boy it was fun but no kill. Well that made my night, maybe it will be a different story when I get a few bucks and do a little modding.

Those things are nasty from a stop AWD and the turbo, they launch hard and go. Top end (70+) without a speed limiter you could hang with em pretty good, good race

Yea those are nice for low 20'* in price to run low 14'* in the quarter. One of their biggest downfalls is their trannies. The new WRX STi'* are going to be sweet. But to bad I dont have 32 grand for it :( . But at least you had fun with him.

I hate to say it but those new STI'* will decimate any bonne they go against stock for stock. 300 hp and just under that for torque, It is this new rallie car trend going around, but watch out because they may seem small but in my new magazine a guy spanked a 99 corvette in the quarter mile in a 2003 Mitsubishi EVO VIII (it was the author of the sory not a letter written in so I believe it.

This wasn't a STi. It is a 00' WRX. I've rode in it before when he was G-Teching the thing. LOL he wasn't good at driving a stick, he was sliping the clutch a lot. Well guess what his 0-60 time was.
8 seconds flat . LOL

The STi , 4wd, can launch in the power band with minimal slip and just take off, meaning you don't have to be a great driver to get a good launch, you just have to know what you're doing. Frankly these things scare me shitless, bone stock I have a hard enough time with plain WRX'*.
The Lancer EVO VIII on the other hand just doesnt have the numbers to keep up with the STi, IIRC it'* not 4wd so it'* gonna lose that good launch ability that the WRX has. Also, the numbers just aren't there for the EVO to compete with the STi, and it'* too expensive to be considered competition for the domestic muscle car. With some mods, you bonne guys shouldn't have too much problem with the EVO, you'll have the edge in torque as well as top end.

I don't get the massive torque thing, a 4 banger, like the WRX not the STI but the WRX has 227 HP, I don't know bout the torqe but it can't be massive since it'* a 4 banger and the turbo lag is bad in them. 1 of the reason there so fast is AWD which they can just launch and go, but they would have to dump the clutch at like 5 grand to get out of the turbo lag and get a good laucnh since it'* AWD. My point is I almost had a WRX, so they SUCK and that'* that. RICE, DIE, EAT, MMM DELIICIOUS. I would take a Z06 Vette any day over a WRX, and if the WRX can do a 4.0 or 4.2 0-60 yes that'* without AWD and the skid handling at 1-G and one of the best braking cars. And they don't cost a lot too like a Viper of Cobra, and a quarter mile in 12.7 sec. that'* the 2001 stats they changed the HP in the new ones which would be faster.
