Some of you may or may not know that I blew my original motor (spun the bearings and it was easier to replace the motor than rebuild it).

The new JY motor is in and running like a charm.

I guess the real question is how quickly do you get used to the motor not being the original?

I guess it kinda still bother me that the motor is not the same as before, I understand that what is important is the car itself, not the motor..

I don't like telling other people that I have a second motor in there because it makes it look unreliable....

I'm on engine number 3. Number 2 caught fire. Replaced it under warranty (from the recycler I bought it from.) I've put at least 60,000 miles on number 3 and it still runs like a champ

I haven't beat it up yet, the highest it saw was just under 4 grand and that was a gradual acceleration instead of stomping the gas.

It hasn't leaked oil or coolant. My original leaked oil. So I'm happy with the second motor.

I alway expected the transmission to go first...

According to the previous owner of my 94, I'm on engine block #2 and a rebuild on that one. Probably about 100,000 miles on this newest engine. I don't bother telling many people that I'm on this engine configuration. I just say I have a 292K mile car!

I'm really glad you decided to keep the car, Cody. Way to go!
