started to document this under http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...pic.php?t=4993 and the situation has gotten worse:

That'* a much easier, quicker job, and a cheap part.
It has been soem time, but if I remember correctly, the front wheel speed sensor is sealed within the front wheel bearing, the the whole wheel bearing assembly would need to be replaced. That part is not that cheap from a dealer.. I might be worng.

The PMV is a very expensive part, and I replaced a zillion of them at teh dealer..The speed sensor needing replaced ralong withthe PMV is very rare, but I have seen both parts bad, only once..So techinically so far I can think it is possible for the dealer is not screweing you....

Having someone charge you 80 bucks after these two parts were replaced is completely screwed up, and they stuck it to you with no lube if this is the case.. Also I see you STILL are getting the code.. SHEW! This part is outragious.
BRNVS.. I read your horror story about Covington Buick.. Look, I used to work there as a tech for about 6 years...It has been a few years since I worked there, but I still know all the old guys including the service manager.. Can you give me the name of the tech who worked on your car? I want to see which guy screwed you like that.
I might be able to help... There are some good honest guys who still work there, and not all of them do shotty work like that.

Well it'* back in the shop- 4'th time in the last 4-5 weeks. This time they gave me a loaner car and said they'd at least scan the codes for free though. first two times were brake related codes, the third time was "camshaft sensor error" and "engine running lean" codes. They cleared them and so we'll know tomorrow what the latest is.

$1700 so far....i know, it'* really not bad if it got everything fixed, but think of all the MODS i could have bought with that! Now they'll have to wait

Guys, I know ya hate Civics, I used to too, but I do have some respect for them. I have a friend with a 93 and it moves pretty damn good... his only has a few minor mods and it does 8.4 0-60.. it keeps up with my Riv pretty decently and my riv has the supercharged Series II.
