Default Bonnevilleclub.com car?

Ya know what would be kinda cool. Everyone donates $20 to build a BEAST of a Bonneville. 1000+ members x $20 = 11sec in the 1/4 . It'd really put us on the map too...just a wild thought

Possibly at meets but I guess mostly for shows and what not. There is a fair amount of clubs out there doing similar things. $20 to be a part of something like that? I probably lose more than that in my car seats. Being spread out kinda hinders a lot of the driving it part but if you see the BonnevilleClub car in Pontiac Enthusiast or something.......

Hmhh could be very cool. Would at least get us into a magazine probably.

Someone could set up a paypal account for sending money.

Hell I would open my paypal account up for use if I get to keep the interest.

Yeah we could designate someone to do that. Then we could all put our 2cents in on the entire build up. What year, what performance, what paint...all the good stuff. I think it'd be cool

Well it depends on what we want to do and this is where the problem would be. Some people like me would be all for the older 87-91 bodystyle for several reasons:

1. lighter
2. cheaper
3. unique and different
4. just plain better looking

If we were going to go for a all out balls to the wall traditional tripple threat car( 1/4 mile, top speed, road course terror) then I think this would be the way to go.

Now if we wanted bad *** street car that would have lots of show along with the go then maybe the 93-99 or 2000 and up bodystyles would be better. The 87-91 would be more race car and the other bodystyle would be more street car.

Instead of a stripped interior, racing seats and full roll cage the later body style car would have leather buckets, bad *** stereo system w/ dvd players and gps.

Paint for the race car would be simple one or two color with sponsor stickers and black out racing wheels with R-Compound rubber wrapping them. The street car would have a more complicated multi-color paint job, graphics probably maybe some color changing paint, and big 17-18 inch wheels.

I think the second option might go more with the bonneville theme of Luxury With Attitude

I'd go for it...I'd love to see what that much money could do to a Bonneville.

It had better not be anyone'* personal ride though, or we will all kill him/her to get it!

Yeah thats why I say we should go buy our own few years old used car that would be the CLUBS car. Hmhh you know we could incorporate the Club in the state with the most members and then put the car in the name of the club. All of the people who helped buy the car would be shareholders in the corporation.

I know in VA, not sure about other states, you only have to pay 75 or so dollars to incorporate your business.
