Tire help w/2000 Bonny SSEI...
110,000 miles on the car and 2 sets of Yokohama S520'* (235/55/R17'*) in the last 2 years! Neither set made it to 30,000 miles: both were SHOT at 28k despite rotations, highway driving by my wife, etc...I got into it with Discount Tire but all they want to do is 'pro rate' the warranty on the next set....they've done this to me and others I know before. (after claiming the first set 'should have been siped' and theorizing that the 'heat' wore the tires out prematurely) Well, the second set was siped and wore out just as quick! Suggestions for tires guys........AFFORDABLE, reliable tires for this car?

Bonnies are front heavy FWD sedans. I average 20,000 it seems regardless of brands. TireRack.com is where I peruse for rubber.

i always buy bfgoodrich tires, ive been through over a dozen sets probably, they always out perform oe in every way. longevity, dry and snow traction etc.. i dont run two sets of tires either and we get serious snow.

2000 SSEI with 230,000 miles. Eagle LS 40,000 plus and still not to wear bars when I change them out. Trying out Michelin Primacy now. Smoother ride but worse in snow. 20,000 miles so far and they still look new. I drive 150 miles a day and its a 50/50 split on city/highway.
