i had to get a new windshield a couple weeks ago so i go to my friend garage to get a good deal and i did they came and put it in simple right? WRONG!!!! these cheap asse order there windshields from china which i didnt know originally so they replace i get the car inspected before i actually drive and the HUD looks horible its dull and looks like it has two images so i complain and they come put a knew one in and same thing plus they break it putting it in so 1 more time this is when they decide to let us in on the china thing so i bitch and they order ppg and come back for the third time this time looks great hud works perfect im good o go right no the idiot breaks my rearview so ow i have to order one of those at their expense ofcourse $225 bucks now im just waiting for it to come in

by the way do you know how akward it is to drive without that screwed me all up

don't you carry comprehensive on your car? I carry a zero deductible so anything like windshields is free to me. Even if you had a 100 or 250 deductible it would help a lot. My son just had his windshield replaced and it would have cost $1300 but he just had to pay $100 for it.

The HUD situation is what I've been telling people all along. You don't want to use a non-HUD windshield. This is a first-hand experience from a member to prove the point.

We have had members state without a doubt that a regular windshield will do...

There you have it folks....HUD is a unique feature and needs unique parts to make it work properly :o

i did get the right windshield for the hud but they just had garbage from china so they could try to save a buck but i guess they learned there lesson and about the insurance deductable i kinda dont have my license right now and they dont know it so i would like to keep it that way but you definitley need the right windshield for the hud system they told me that when i ordered it
