Default SLE SC vs SSE vs 40th SSEi at the scale

Will, I told you yesterday I had weighed the SSE in at 3450 -I was wrong and just realized it when I looked up the pic of the SSE on the scale.

1995 SLE SC 3530 lbs

Half tank of gas and about 20-30 lbs junk/tools in the car -no passengers.

1998 SSE 3540 lbs

3/4 tank gas, car as it would have been on the showroom floor -all factory features, no clutter.

Funny you should ask -I just got out of the drivers seat of the 99. We didn't do any side-by-side comparisons, but the owner of my old 99 drove the 95 and we both agreed that I have a stronger low end grunt. He said he'* jealous of my shift kit too.
Otherwise, he has a 3.4" pulley, CAI, 2.5" HF cat, Magnaflow muffler, and a 180* t-stat that really makes things happen in the middle of 2nd gear.

To give an idea of how the two compare at the 1/8 track my PB in the 99 without the HF cat, was a 9.794 @ 75.38 mph. 60' on this run was a 2.347. Track temps were in the low 60'*.
My 95'* PB without the smaller pulley and new belt is a 9.590 @ 72.10 mph. 60' for this run was a 2.225. Track temps in the 50* range +/- 2-3*.

He'* going to the scale to weigh it in now, and in about 10 minutes I'm taking my brother'* 97 SSEi there. It'll be way over weighted because my brother has about 100 lbs of junk in the car now.

None of you're cars have sunroofs, do they? I heard they add somewhere around 80lbs.

the 40th SSEi does.

Just got the call from the 99 owner -with 5/8 tank, two big heavy 12'* in a dual bandpass in the trunk the car weighed in at 3640 lbs. The 99 also has a sunroof, lumbar seats (97 40th just has standard dual power seats -no compressor, nor does the 97 have CCR like the 99).
