Default Bonneville Accident

Here'* this guy'* story.

My wife was driving Bonneville on her way to office, city road, exactly toward sunrise, at 35-40 mph. Front visibility were VERY limited. She were changing lines to left line, when was knicked in rear by speeding Chevy Cavalier. Because of impact she lost control and flew over the 5 foot medium to other side of the road.

Hit iron pool by rear-left, and then had a front-left collision with minivan following 35-40 mph in opposite direction. Cavalier had only scratch on bumper, minivan'* driver had minor injures. My wife had couple of scratches and bruises. Left knee is still weather-sensitive, but other than that, thanks God, everything is fine. She was, as always, wearing seatbelt, and airbag triggered right in time.

Look at the occupant space...It'* not even touched. I think that'* a '94.

A Bonneville saves yet another life! So where did you find this, obviously this isn't yours. I don't think I see a single panel or trim piece that wasn't meesed up on it.
This is the second mention I have seen on this forum about a speeding Cavalier taking out a Bonne. Bonnies beware of Cavaliers!

I actually think that the 89 Cavaliers are the exception to the rule Drifter420. I mean hell, you got a Bonneville so it can be all bad!

Thanx man.... I can't wait to get my hands on another L67 with 4T65 HD tranny and slap that into my Cavalier.... That would just be insane, and a perfect sleeper... well.. never be as good of a sleeper as the Bonnie

There is a 94 Cavalier in Woodbridge, VA that has a L36 installed. That thing hauls some serious bootie! I got a chance to look at it a few months ago and man does that thing get wedged in! It'* tight, but it seems to fit. Have fun!

nooooooooooo, boys, that'* a '94. Look at the wheels, and what is left of the head light. Plus I am pretty sure the grill on a 92 dosn't come up with the hood, and it does on the 94.

Yes, that'* a 92. At least MOST of a 92. Try this link, then click on enlarge photo. Notice the grille and wheels:

Hmm you are both right...my appolagies. the grill IS different. I always thought that 95 was the year the bonnies got that honey comb grill, with the exception of 93-94 SSEis. Apparently NOT. However, I have seen those wheels on up to '94 style (I had a friend who used to have them off of a 94)
...HOWEVER....upon further investigation, the car IS listed as a 94...
