Hey everyone i havent really kept up on stuff around this place lately but i figure summer is here and its time to put some money into my bonne (hah yea right the little money i have)....how has everyone been? i saw petes bonne it looked so bad but im glad he made it out ok. My bonne has been treating me well at college and stuff...the only recent problem ive had with it is it doesnt start quite properly....ill turn the key and it makes like a rev up sound and then just goes back down so i turn the key back and do it again and it works on the second try... not sure what it could be? the starter? im going to change out my plugs and wires soon me and my dad were thinking it might be that...not sure though. on the topic of wires does anyone know where i can get taylor wires for my bonne? im also in the market for a k&n cone air filter/intake if anyone knows where i can pick up one of those heheh but yea not much else happening here there are cicadias (crazy flying bugs that come out to mate every 17yrs) flying everywhere made a few nice splats on my windshield :? my sister wrecked her 92 buick regal (series one 3800 in there) the front end is smashed up not worth fixing unless my dad can get cheap parts....oh well but thats about it ill try to get some new pics up on my bonne (hasnt really changed much) my dads ssei and other things eventually this summer haha sorry this was so long kinda rambling anyways ttyl!

Welcome back!

As for the starting thing... Is it just sthe starter spinning when you try, or the engine too?

If it'* just the starter, could be a bad solenoid cusing the pinion gear not to "hop out" and connect with the fly wheel. This would require a new starter, as I think the solenoid is integrated on ours.

If the engine takes a try or two to fire, then it could be the Fuel Pressure Regulator, or the Crank Sensor, or a few other things the true gearheads can help you with.

Staters are actually a pretty easy fix if you have Jack Stands and a socket set.

I've created an intake system for all of us.... http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=15624

Cheap too!

As for starting, go with their suggestions too. Maybe have your fuel pressure checked?

Taylors in red or blue are cheapest @ www.grandprixstore.com They'll be slightly longer on a series 1, but you can make them do some nice curving then. Otherwise Domestic performance will have all colors i believe.

Welcome back!

Napa is good for the Taylor wires...in just about any color!

Check this site out for some good mods and a K&N perhaps...
