*Might* be time for something new *UPDATE PICS*
I have to face it - I don't have the time or money to make this car what it should be. The list of little things that are wrong with it are ENDLESS, and some of them are starting to drive me nuts.
To start it off -
- the driver side door has just seized up again, lock cylinder is dead too
- there is still something making noise on the acc. belt, probably water pump
- blower motor blows
- water leaks everywhere, from the headliner, in the trunk...
- rusted, no clearcoat, cannot aim the drivers side headlight right...
- rotten weather stripping
I just don't have the time, money, or even tools to address all this. If it comes down to getting rid of the car I don't know if I will have the willpower to send it to the wrecker (since a safety would be alot) or even sell it to someone I don't know. I wish someone from BC would pick her up to fix, I'm not asking much for it.
As a change of pace, this showed up today: http://www.canadatrader.com/result/d...7&pgno=1&srt=1
I just called and it only has 140,000km'*...apparently it is in great shape. I am going to look at it tomorrow, see what I think. Only probably is that it is in a REALLY shady part of town. Like, right downtown on a street that is highly populated with hookers and gangs at night. Would this deter anyone from buying this car? Perhaps it is a shady dealer? I'm not sure really...but I've got lots of thinking to do.
Apologies for this really long rant, but I am very frustrated. Pulling the driver side door and having it not open just pushed me over the edge on a bad day.

Well, I took a look at it. It is in great shape. The only wear in the interior is the drivers seat. There is one scuff on the front bumper (will probably come out) and the "i" on the "SSEi" on the trunk is bent. The rest is fine.
Mechanically, the engine/supercharger makes no bad noises, can barely feel the transmission shifting, and it feels wonderful to drive. As for the bad, the power antenna is broken, the performance/comfort ride lights are both on and thats about it.
I can go down to $5600 CDN. I am in quite the predicament...I don't know what to do. I need some sort of insurance that the car isn't going to have a major tranny repair once I get it.
Here are some pictures.
